Travel Log - SACRED JOURNEY “In the footsteps of Magdalene – Now and then”
First a short pre-story
In 2017, seven years ago, a beautiful song from the Divine Mother inspired me to embark on a solo journey in the footsteps of Magdalene. Even though my knowledge of the Essene community and its rich history was limited I was guided to trust my intuition and to let the land and sacred places inspire me.
And so, off I traveled from Denmark to France, beginning my adventure at the Grotto de Sainte Madeleine in Sainte Baume.
During my stay at the monastery in Sainte Baume, I formed a deep, heartfelt connection with nature and met a newfound sister traveler, an American woman heading toward Carcassonne. Our bond felt profoundly familiar, as if our souls had danced together in other lifetimes. While walking the sacred path to the Grotto, I experienced a striking vision of Yeshua, which reaffirmed the spiritual depth of my journey, filling me with warmth and reverence.
As we approached Carcassonne, we spotted a heart-shaped cloud in the sky, a delightful sign that reinforced our sense of divine guidance. We spent five magical days exploring together, with our visit to Montségur—a powerful site once held by the Cathars—being a highlight. It was there that I experienced a vivid vision of a regal King embarking on a new journey, symbolizing the personal transformation that was unfolding within me.
Now, in 2024, I returned to this sacred land, ready to hold a nurturing space for a group of women. I embraced the evolution of my journey from individual discovery to a shared experience, inviting each participant to connect deeply with themselves and the spiritual energies that abound in this enchanting land.
Note: Specific content of Guided journeys, Meditations and activations are not shared here as they were personal experiences and should be honored as such.
Spiritual Highlights of the Sacred Journey – September 2024
Day 1:
The first morning was at the beach, greeting the sun during the Fall Equinox. Engaging in our sacred exercises opened our hearts to profound joy and light, allowing us to embody the new spiritual codes. Each participant received specially chosen crystals—double-terminated clear quartz and fluorite—as energetic amplifiers, enhancing our connection personally, within the group and to the surrounding sites and energies.
Day 2:
Fall Equinox. We rose early to greet the sun at the ocean, engaging in our daily exercises as we opened ourselves to receive its energy. We were fortunate to catch a glimpse of the sun, receiving the special solar codes transmitted during the Equinoxes and Solstices. We also felt grateful for the spectacular sunrise we had enjoyed the day before!
Later that morning, we set off to our main camp, RiverHouse, in Quillan. The drive was long, so I suggested we refresh ourselves in the Hot Springs of Rennes-les-Bains. As we arrived, we found the park nearly empty—just two guys who were grabbing a bite before their soak. This meant we had the healing waters all to ourselves for a long, rejuvenating bath!
Upon arriving at Quillan, we were pleasantly surprised by our accommodations. The house exceeded our expectations, featuring a lovely porch by the rushing river, a well-equipped kitchen, a common room for indoor meditations, and a stunning view of the castle ruin—simply amazing!

Day 3:
Our visit to Rennes-les-Bains was deeply transformative. Meditation at the sacred spring brought guidance directly from The Magdalenes to the spring of our own beings, connecting us to our higher selves and grounding us in personal insights. As the sun came out we completed the morning meditation and ceremony with bathing and baptism where the 2 waters meet.
In Rennes-le-Château, we felt the nurturing feminine energies as we shared spontaneous meditative practices in Saunière’s garden, uniting our souls in a profound sense of community and purpose and preparation for the Crystal Activation the following day.
Day 4:
The Crystal Activation in the Cave de Lombrives was a highlight and an important part for the following visits at Montségur and Bugarach. Surrounded by the ancient Lemurian energy of the cave, we opened a portal through our collective intentions and personal crystals. The experience created a potent field of energy allowing us to feel deeply connected with Gaia, embracing a sense of healing and restoration personally and for the region.
The 12 sided Vogel Cut Crystal, placed in the water, when activated, literally started to vibrate throughout the mountain.
A both mystical and alchemical experience.
Day 5:
REST. This day was devoted to integration and renewal. We explored local markets, gathering sacred items and delicious foods, nourishing all parts of our beings. Some stayed home in the afternoon resting. 2 other women came along to les Gorges de Galamus. During our visit to Ermitage Saint-Antoine de Galamus, we offered sacred songs alongside younger women—an unplanned act that highlighted our collective strength and connection through generations. 3 elder women and 3 younger women: Number 3+3 = 33.
Day 6:
Montségur. We began our day with sacred morning exercises, infusing our spirits with intention and holding sacred space. Each movement was a prayer, harmonizing our energies and ensuring that our personal fields were clear and centered, ready to receive the profound spiritual energies that awaited us. As we climbed Montségur, we focused on centering ourselves and connecting with the sacred guardians of the mountain. Upon our arrival, we were met by the powerful presence of the female Guardian, fostering a profound sense of welcome, peace and connection within our group.
In the castle’s main hall, we engaged in a quiet meditation that allowed for deep release and surrender. A beautiful moment emerged when we invited fellow hikers to join our singing, creating a tapestry of voices that transcended cultures and ages moving us deeply as we recognized our shared humanity and divine connection.
As the weather turned, we quickly descended, grateful for the profound connection we had experienced. That evening, we attended a concert in Rennes-le-Château, providing a perfect space for calm integration.

Day 7:
Bugarach. We began with our daily energy exercises on the porch, witnessing majestic vultures soaring above, a reminder of the powerful spiritual energies surrounding us.
Our hike up Bugarach started with blessings for the waters and the land, anchoring our intentions for the day.
The mountain opened a portal, guiding us into a deep personal journey. Guided by our Spiritual Guides, we activated the energy of our personal crystals and experienced the uplifting force of a brilliant light, symbolizing the “Holy Spirit” illuminating our paths.
Afterward, though we didn’t quite reach the summit, spirits remained high as we shared laughter and warmth over a comforting meal.
Day 8:
Rennes-le-Château to Marseille:
On our last morning at Quillan Riverhouse, we expressed our heartfelt gratitude to the spirits that supported us throughout our journey. It was a joyful and nurturing stay, deeply enriching our experience in Lanquedoc.
After an enlightening lecture by Sus and Kai at the Church of Madeleine, where they shared their studies and deep insights into the mysteries of the church, we enjoyed a nourishing meal at Le Jardin de Marie. Their wisdom illuminated the sacred space, enhancing our understanding of its history and significance.
Our last night was in Marseille. Quiet as we knew our journey together soon would come to an end. Next morning we had an early rise. As usual we did our daily energy exercises, then breakfast, and off we were to our last destinaion: Sainte Baume, Grotto de Sainte Madeleine.
Day 9:
Sainte-Baume, Grotto de Sainte Madeleine. Our final day was marked by a Ceremony and Medicine Walk. We walked in silence, tuning into the wisdom of nature and receiving deep insights for personal growth throughout the journey. The grotto, filled with vibrant energy, served as a sacred space for reflection and connection.
At the mountain’s summit, we held a heartfelt ceremony with our crystals, amazed at the transformation of their energy as we sang together. This alchemical experience solidified the sacred geometry within and without both personally and for the group. Like bonds we formed throughout our journey, reminding us of our unity.
As we concluded with a closing ceremony, each member shared their experiences, fostering a shared sense of completion and gratitude. The journey home was smooth, filled with reflections and much needed integration of our transformative experiences.
Closing online meeting:
I recognized that it was time to close the space for the group. We convened online once more, where each received a personal message and gift from the spirit of The Magdalenes, affirming the deep connections and spiritual insights gained throughout the journey.
We expressed again our gratitude to all the Masters, Angelics, Galactics, and Kingdoms who had supported us in such a profound, safe, and transformational way, releasing them back to the Universe.
With heartfelt appreciation, I close my journal for now, knowing that another Sacred Journey is being crafted for 2025.
Who knows what magic that lies ahead?
With infinite Love and Gratitude,

Testimonials
Sacred Journey 2024
I can hardly find the words for this, beyond all my expectations—magical, liberating, enriching, and loving Sacred Journey that I have just been a part of. 🙌💫💗 From the bottom of my heart, a deep and humble thank you to you and your incredible, magical way of helping me and the rest of the team through each of our journeys.
From start to finish, you have managed to maintain a safe and loving atmosphere around the group, allowing everyone to feel seen and heard. No one has been forgotten; each one of us has been filled up by your magical meditations, crystal healings, songs, and joy, while also being supported when our fears surfaced.
I am still completely overwhelmed by how much I have achieved on my own inner journey during this trip, as well as all the truly exciting and beautiful places you have led me/us to. They were a gift for the soul to experience. 🙌♥️
I have never experienced a journey like this, and I will forever be grateful to you for guiding and supporting me on this inner journey, so that today I can stand without fear and show the world who the true PL is.
So, wonderful Karen, on this Sacred Journey, you have helped me understand what it means to be my true self. What it means to dare to stand true in my heart and know that I am always protected by something greater than humanity and that life should be lived each day in harmonious balance.
Recognizing that I am made of light and love and that everything else is merely a created fear from the ego is a gift in itself to understand—so thank you for all your support and guidance.
For any soul who might feel the call
Being on the journey with Karen, following in Magdalene's footsteps, has been magical in so many ways. I realize that no two experiences are the same—though we were a group, each of us was on our own unique path. For me, it was fascinating to observe the group dynamics, especially in moments when flow was present and everything aligned for the greater good. At times, this also led to deep self-reflection and a newfound awareness of my own boundaries.
The trip itself, with its energetic and high-vibrational locations, has been transformative. It feels as if my wings grow stronger with each passing day, revealing surprises in my inner landscape. I came with no expectations; I simply embraced the flow and welcomed the revelations, insights, guidance, and empowerment that unfolded along the way.
The morning workout routine also provided a wonderful boost of energy and a sense of openness, preparing me for the day's surprises. The hikes up and down the mountains were challenging, especially with my two bad knees, but the reward of completing them and feeling the healing of my knees was incredible.
So, if you feel the call, let yourself be led. You are doing an immense inner work that will benefit not only your-self but everyone around you. Warmest recommendations,
