SPRING EQUINOX CEREMONY

Equinox is the time of the year when day and night is of equal length. It is also the time where we set sails for a whole new solar cosmic year. In northern hemisphere, days are now getting longer and nights shorter as we move towards summer.

Equinox is a time of rebirth. Sun is at 0 degrees in Aries, 1st sign in the Zodiac, and we are offered a time and moment to really shed the energy and karma from the past year (like the snakes sheds its skin) It is time to open up for initiation into the new cycle.

To me, this a most potent moment for setting sails, a choosing point on how you (I) want to dance through the changes of Gaia, of our-selves and all of creation.

Lorna Bevan explains the energetics beautifully:
You are now in a moment where you get to review, rethink and recreate just about anything you want. This may involve any facet of your life. You have the opportunity to work from the roots of your existence upwards and outward. For now, stay close to the ground and work from your core reality.
You can’t so easily relate to your past anymore. Our soul sees it all as just experience. There is less and less emotional attachment to it. It’s a blessing because it is making room for new memories.
